Jon Fobes is a Lorain, Ohio, resident. He was an assistant news editor and page designer at The Cleveland Plain Dealer for 20 years and is now night picture editor.

Jon mainly shoots floral and nature photos, with some landscape and architecture. He creates slide shows with original soundtracks for live presentations and for the Web. His shows appear on cleveland.com.

His pictures have appeared in The Plain Dealer and a variety of other publications. The Plain Dealer page at right won an international award.

His photography has diminished through 2008 and 2009 as he
focused his efforts on his music project.
